Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Richard Ushaw. I am the General Manager with over 25 years of experience in project management. I am qualified to lead the top foundation repairs and maintenance company in New Zealand. I am a passionate member of the Concrete Contractors Association. I am a great communicator, fair, honest, and full of integrity. My experience in residential foundation repairs enables me to lead a company focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and professionalism.

I started my apprenticeship after I finished school. I have worked with many kinds of foundations and big machines. I know the right tools to do the job well. I care about foundation repairs and maintenance for my clients. I take pride in our work and leave our sites cleaner than we found them. I enjoy long rides on my motorbike.

Hi, I’m Tom. I work as a Civil Works Technician for Grace. I have a lot of experience moving houses and repiling them. I have focused on fixing and maintaining foundations for the last four years. I am a family man with active, sporty kids. I support them by managing local sports teams. I enjoy spending time on my boat fishing with my family. I love a challenge and look forward to my future projects.

Matthew leads our on-site assessments and is usually the first face our clients see. Every job starts with him: walking the site, identifying the cause of the movement, and scoping the right remediation across both Grace Foundation Solutions and Geofix.

He started with Grace as an on-site foundation remediation technician, so he is well-versed in foundation movement issues.

His job is to give you a clear, honest picture before any decisions are made, so you know what’s going on, why, and what the fix involves. No jargon, no pressure, just a straight assessment from someone who’s seen it all underground.
